Such an easy way to make taco shells; just put your tortilla in the pan and put it in the oven. In no time you have an oil-free taco shell. Season the shell before baking to personalize the flavoring you want in your taco shell. And, there's no mess to clean up.
Just the truth please!

These are smaller than the ones I purchased last time. They fit an 8-inch tortilla.

Are you a low carb person? Get these! You can make your own Taco Bell taco salad without the guilt. I love taco salads and now I can have them every Tuesday without the guilt and the carbs. I use low carb tortilla and just put them in the oven and viola I have my taco shell. I have hand washed them and put the on the top shelf of the dishwasher with no issues. I don't oil or anything on the outside of the shell and have no issues with sticking. Worth the money!

I like the ease of use. No special care required. Treat as regular dessert mold, or similar pan. Clean and dry, store with small cloth or silicon pan separators for long life. I use light coating of avocado oil for salads. Have pans ready to go with oven preheated. Fry tortillas briefly in a little oil evenly. I like a little more well done on centers because wet ingredients will eventually soften the bottom of your salad bowl, itself. Outside edges crisp quickly, baking in oven. Do not bake too long. I have used single and double pan methods, for different results. I flair mine to one side like a turkey, careful that side doesn't burn. Fill with drier ingredients, then more wet ingredients to the top, otherwise mix up the order to your liking. Small size pan is for appetizers or smaller people. Larger size is for main dish or larger people. Two small could also be quite filling, depending on your filling. Appearance will vary greatly depending on type of tortillas, and how you position them within pan. Basic care will extend value of pans. Can be fun to use and add some variety to your meal plans.Step by stepPreheat oven to 350'. I wouldn't recommend higher as your oven may run hot, discolor/damage pan, ruin food, spoil dinner plans, and maybe provide pyrotechnics.Oil inside of pan with high smoke point oil to ensure non-stick, add flavor and texture to baked tortilla.Place single tortilla into oiled pan, careful not to rip the tortillas as they tear especially easily when not pre-fried.Place second pan on top of tortilla and ease into place.Set the pan in the oven once temperature is about 350'.Bake at 350' for 4 minutes, then carefully remove the top pan NOT WITH YOUR HANDS.Easiest to take them out with oven mitts, then set the top pan aside.Return the lower pan/tortilla to the oven for about 2-3 minutes, then shut off heat and remove the pan when you are happy with the doneness. To keep tortillas warm when dinner time changes, reduce oven to less than 200' to keep the tortillas warm a little longer before serving.

Used these Taco Shell Makers for the first time today after purchasing here. Instead of crisping the tortillas in the oven, I instead used our Corsori air fryer, also purchased here. I was wise to crisp shells one-at-a-time this first time and that really paid off. Here is what to know. What happened with the first shell may not have happened in a standard oven, but it did happen in my air fryer and would likely have happened in a convection over. I lightly oiled the both sides of "very large" tortillas as they laid flat on a cutting board, but learned not to oil the area that will become the bottom or floor of the taco shell. I then molded them into the metal shells. Was easy to do. I used a setting of 350°F and set the air fryer for 8 minutes. Should have made an interim check but did not. When time was up I sadly found the tortilla had closed up, like a day lily or tulip at the end of a day. No way to recover as it was crisp.Undaunted, for the second tortilla I first molded it into a shell, but then I placed a second of these metal shells into the formed tortilla, sandwiching it between two shells to keep it from closing up. That worked famously! I cooked at the same 350°F setting for four minutes. Then I removed the top metal shell, being careful not to break the browned tortilla. It held its shape nicely. Then I placed just the then-formed tortilla back in the air fryer, still in a metal shell, for 2-3 minutes to crisp up the bottom. Worked perfectly. Then cooked two more. Great! (see photo).I highly recommend these. Just remember to practice with one tortilla at a time until you see the results you want, then replicate.
