I have been wanting a nice wooden salad bowl forever, and this bowl did not disappoint. The wood is gorgeous and the workmanship is beautiful I love the shape of the bowl with it's almost straight down sides and large diameter. And the hand scoops are ample, yet lightweight, and do a great job of mixing the greens together. I am following the manufacturers advice to oil it before using, and after every use beyond that. It would make a very impressive shower or wedding gift, or even a birthday gift for a friend who.

This is one of my favorite Amazon buys for my kitchen. It’s so beautiful and functional! It’s smooth and has a really subtle luster to it. The size of the bowl is perfect for family sized generous salad. It includes the matching wood forks to toss the salad and serve with. We use this several times a month and I just love it. I hand wash with regular dish soap and then dry it with a kitchen towel. Still looks brand new. Highly recommend!

I love the craftsmanship of this bowl, beautiful wood in differing colors and textures, it's beautiful. Just don't soak it or put it in your dish washer as the instructions state!

The bowl is nice but there was unfortunately a slivering chip in the salad forks. It comes apart when I touch it so I don't think I can use them.

The top layer of wood had broken in one place (the packaging was fine). I don’t think the wood joins are very sturdy.
