It was the perfect replacement I was looking for. You don’t need to cut it down like mentioned in other reviews unless you are using this instead of the smaller sized brackets.

Bought these for a second Rubbermaid wire shelf in my laundry room that needed to be mounted between two cabinets. The first one used something similar and I was surprised I couldn't find the same bracket at any of the DIY stores. I needed a single hole top and bottom vs two holes horizontally. Foolishly assumed these would fit the front lip without really measuring since they were the only option for the same brand shelf, so imagine my surprise when these 3" deep brackets arrived for a 2" drop lip. A saws-all and a steady hand allowed for the needed modification, although it's not the prettiest. I wasn't overly pleased to have to do this on an already pricey-for-what-it-is item, but here we are.

I have an older shelf system that used a slightly different size of this holder. A dremmel tool and a couple minutes and it worker perfectly. Seems better quality than the original, so will probably outlast the shelves now.

This was my first time using any item like this or installing it myself. After a little bit of play I was able to figure out how to properly install them and lots of measuring. In the end it was the right choice and sturdy to hold up my shelf.

The listed dimensions are inaccurate. Note that the slot depth is actually 2-15/16” if that helps anyone in the future.These are also not returnable even though they are sold directly by Amazon. So for the thousands and thousands of products that Amazon sells and allows returns on, this one doesn’t make the cut. Makes sense, right? I have two of these now that I paid for and are completely useless.
