I've used lizard skin before. It's a bit softer of a bat tape. The Vulcan bat tape is much tackier in my opinion. The guys on my team all use the 1.50 and the 1.75mm which is just a poor choice for wooden bats in general. If I could use pine tar I would but I can't stand the sticky feeling so this really bridges that gap for me. Thin enough it still feels like I'm swinging a wood bat. I can't really say anything negative about this bat tape. The only thing I would recommend is order the lizard skin .5mm and the Vulcan. Feel them both swing with both and make your decision. The Vulcan tape will most likely last longer and give you a better overall feel of the bat itself. Which is the biggest thing when swinging a wood bat. They are much less forgiving than alloy.

Everybody wants to compare this to lizardskin so ill say it's slightly less tacky but will be sufficient for 99% of people. My only complaint is that they need to include a few more inches of tape. My hands barely fit on the tape and I don't really even have big hands.

This was easy to install and seems to be wearing well. The wrap looks great too. Pay attention to the wrap direction of the old wrap before installing any new wrap, just to make sure you put it on right.

Seriously. I bought a black and gold worth for slow pitch. And it had a black grip, probably worked fine but I didn't want fine, I wanted pizzazz. And I found it. Not only is it a stunning grip, it is comfortable, doesn't have a lot of slip, easy to install, and so much more. My bat looks cool as hell. That is all there is to it.
