yea, they are HS steel, yea, you'll break some, but overall results have. been nice for cost of single better bit.. for light use needs, perfect

Excellent little end mills I've been Milling some deep slots in 3/4 inch cold rolled haven't broken a bit yet. do note though that the shank is 6 mm so if you have to cut deeper then the length of the flute you don't need to grind the thing back a bit I thought I could turn it back some on the lathe with a carbide bit the really hard tool steel the carbide would barely touch it I had to grind I haven't tried them on aluminum yet but they're doing great on some pretty hard Steel
