It seemed to work fine until 5 minutes in, and then the bit broke in half

So far thise carbide bit seems to hold its' own. Used on aluminum sheets, it's lasted through many sheets. Other materials, I can't comment on. Overall, I would purchase again.

These are quite hard and sharp mills. I see no issues with quality. I have not yet used them on anything harder than aluminum, but no problems thus far.Narrower mills generally there is a risk of breakage if you aren't careful. I feel good about these; that they can handle normal, careful use without breaking due to the high quality. For 1/8 inch mills the unit cost is over five dollars which is not unreasonable but also not a bargain, thus I rate the product four stars overall.

This 3/8 Accucut endmill is a nicely made cutter. I generally only use 2 flute cutters for non ferrous metals so most of my testing was in 7075-T6 aluminum. The cutter performed admirably. I kept the depths of cut reasonable (about .200 or so) and only pushed the cutter to moderate feeds at 3500 RPM or so. It cut great. No chatter. It showed zero signs of wear and I was probably too gentle with it but I want to use it again one day. I'm mostly happy with this cutter. I deducted 1 star because the shank was about .3745. For me, the only issue the size presented was my collet wanted to release it a little too quickly when I unlocked the drawbar.

needs specs, thats odd.... maybe they will post them here...regardless, some experimentation will get you the right cut speeds and depth in the material you are cutting...good value, 4 stars

I used this ACCUCUT I2KES 3/8 Carbide Square End Mill to cut some 3/8 holes in aluminum. I had several to make and this End Mill performed without any issues at all. The two flutes kept the debris out of the holes well. Even after 15 holes, in aluminum, at 3/4 inch each, it was cutting the same on the last one as it did the first hole.Yes, it was hot but not nearly as hot as several others I have used. I do mostly woodwork so I want to see how this End Mill will perform in some hard woods I have. It's an excellent buy. Go for it!

Ordered these solid carbide 2 flute endmills and wanted to program the cnc to make a few cuts. I searched online, on the listing, at the manufacturers website and I am unable to locate the cutting specs for these endmills. Speeds and feeds are everything for making a cut, and every manufacturer has these specs posted on their sites or include them with an endmill. These endmills are sharp, they weigh about what they should, but without proper cutting information, I pretty much can't program my cnc for them. 3 stars

I am using the ACCUCUT 2 Flute 3/8” Carbide Square End Mill in a woodworking shop. I work with hardwoods like Maple, Walnut, and White Oak.I appreciate the way this Carbide Bit makes fast and clean cuts in hard woods. I have used it primarily to shape Native American Style Flutes made of Hard Maple. This is probably not the intended use, but it is how I am using it.I recommend the ACCUCUT Carbide tool bits for any precision work on hardwoods.
