Bought 1 and really liked it. Bought 2 more for my other fans. 4 stars because it would have been perfect if the green button lit up. Easy install.

Had to replace the original Harbour Breeze remote. This was an easy replacement job; instructions and wire labels were easy to follow.

I installed this to replace a regular wall switch that had to be used in conjuction with a remote control in order to control our fan and lights. Previously our remote would occasionally go missing, then we couldn't easily control the lights and fan. We really like how now we can use either the wall switch or remote. Installation was pretty quick and it's been working perfectly so far. My only complaint, no dimming.

The switch is of quality and works as expected. Except after a power outage, the light defaults to on. I was about to install a second unit but am going to search for another that will remain off after a power outage. I am in a rural area where power outages are common. I do not need a bedroom light to come on at 2am because of a power interruption.

The product fit easily in my fan and the controls installed well in my wall. The remote works the light, fan speed no problem. Working the fan is very convenient now

Fine option for those without 3-line connection from the wall switch to the fan/light. Works, dims ok, reliable. The only problem is shoving the receiver (it's quite big) into the light/fan housing, many will not have enough space in there, and wiring can be tricky as well (depends on the model of fan/light combo).

We had a switch + remote on the wall. This product allows you to swap a normal light switch and eliminate the remote. Been a few months and it works great.

We had several Hunter wireless remote controls for 3 of our ceiling fans that we had installed back in 2004. The builder did not wire with 3 wire where the old regular lights were, so we got those remotes. And they worked well until we went to replace the old incandescent bulbs for LED bulbs. We could not go over a 40 watt equivalent without the fan lights strobing. Since these remotes were made before LED's came out, they were not designed to handle the LED bulbs. So I bought these to replace the old Hunter wireless remotes.I like these new units very much. I can now run 60 or 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs without it strobing. Plus these wire into your existing outlet. Where our old units were actually a remote control that mounted in the outlet hole. These new units will not allow you to dim the lights like the old remotes did, but for us that is not a big deal, because we never dimmed them very much. I like the way the buttons are laid out. They remind us of our old units and their layout. Plus you can 100% kill the outlet remote by the flip switch at the bottom of the remote. This disables all buttons. Not sure the purpose of that feature.
