- First, please set the frequency of our wall DIP switch to match the same pattern as your original remote/receiver.
- Before installing the remote, please cut off the power and read the instructions carefully and install the remote according to the instructions. Incorrect wire connection can damage this receiver.
- Install the wall remote in the reserved position according to the instructions.
- Our unit has 16 different frequencies for fans, so you would have to play with the combinations.

Existing controller failed for a KICHLER ceiling fan. Which also required a battery. Took a gamble and this controller was compatible. And like that it's hardwired and no Neutral required. Also far more modern looking with good tactile feedback. Has LED's to indicate fan speed but do not stay illuminated.Only con is it's on a 3-gange wallplate making the other switches look hideous by comparison.An update project for another time.

I've been looking for a replacement for my fan remote switch. Other options are the buttons that wear down after time and stop working. This so far has been perfect and I expect it to last longer than the other options with the green button.
