I grabbed this to save a few bucks when I needed to address a problem with my passenger side upper door hinge on my 1993 F-150. This one is a reasonable replacement, but it was definitely not fun to install. The design does not allow for quite as much play in the hinge to get perfect alignment, so I installed and reinstalled many times before I had it just right. Ultimately, I am very happy with the result and the hinge is definitely super sturdy, but I probably wasted more time than it was worth to save the few bucks.

replaced the factory hinge that the roller had frozen on. I spray painted with factory pain just so the silver didn't stick out. Works great!

Not sure on longevity but was easy to install and functions like oem. Door no longer squeaks and is now properly aligned. 2017 ram 2500 6.7l

My 2017 Ram 1500 drivers door was popping every time the door was opened and closed. This was a perfect replacement for the bad hinge that was at fault. Made the swap out In about an hour, but most of that was because it was 20 deg out and I took several breaks to warm my hands up.Nice and heavy duty, very impressed with the quality materials and craftsmanship.
