10ft DP to VGA cable. This cable is almost double the price of many popular alternatives, but you get what you pay for. I went through a few cables and adapter dongles, and found that the cheaper ones are prone to interference, wavy lines, and instability, particularly for the first few minutes the screen was switched on (or switched to VGA input.) With multiple monitors at the same time, no less, the behavior was consistent. Cheap cables and adapters translate to cheap performance. These... just work. Rock solid, no issues. They're worth the extra ten bucks if you need your stuff to work reliably.

Estupendo articulo, es muy liviano en la parte de la entrada vga, pero otorga una buena imagen y efectivamente soporta los 1080 anunciados. Costo/beneficio espectacular, imagen nítida solida sin distorsiones o fallas.

I bought this because I wanted to use two monitors with a computer running Linux. I had tried to use a USB to VGA adapter for that purpose and found that while that was a good option for Windows it didn't work at all with Linux. Shortly afterwards I discovered that my video outputs included a displayport as well as a VGA output, and since this output was part of the hardware (and not emulated with software) there was a good chance I could add a second monitor to my computer that would work with Linux.This worked, but it was not trouble free. My Lenovo ThinkCentre computer has a problem where it will not boot up if a displayport to VGA adapter is plugged in. Apparently I could fix this by upgrading the BIOS (maybe) but that isn't my idea of fun. So what I ended up doing was booting up the computer with only the VGA port attached, then I plugged in this adapter afterwards. It worked, and I don't reboot my computers that often so this was a workable solution for me. I have no idea how I would have fared with a different computer.If you're running Windows (or Mac I suppose) the USB solution is better. No problem with booting up, it just works. For Linux this is likely to be the better solution.

Produkt gekauft um meinen alten Monitor per VGA an meine Neue Grafikkarte als 2. Monitor anzuschließen. Leider funktioniert das Kabel nicht richtig und es schaltet das Bild des Monitors in unregelmäßigen abstanden für 2-10s einfach aus.Bei anderen Monitoren das selbe Problem. Der DisplayPort funktioniert auch tadellos, womit das Kabel als einzige Fehlerquelle übrig bleibt,Schade, für 30 € kann man schonmal ein Produkt erwarten welches funktioniert.

It worked perfect. One day it just literally fell apart. How does that happen? You plug it into your computer and that'd it. Sometimes my screen would work and sometimes it wouldn't so one day I got under my desk looked at the connection, wanted to make sure it was plugged in. I grabbed it to make sure it was plugged in all the way and the whole thing fell apart. Posses me off. I would like a replacement. I'm 52 years old. It's not like I'm a kid mess'n with stuff.

Qualité d’image retransmise très faible, effet de bravement sur les écritures.Pour un adaptateur actif, j’attendais beaucoup mieux.Pour qui cherche une qualité d’image sur deuxième écran identique à l’écran principale, je déconseille ce produit.
