My CRT monitor does 1600x1200. It worked plugging in an XBOX 360. When trying with PS3, it did not work. I tried all resolutions with the PS3, 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p (although I knew the last one wouldn't work) and no picture comes up on the screen. I tried both the Fat and Slim models but never got a picture.

I bought two of these, one works the other don't, but Amazon accept my claim and ship me a replacement, the 2nd one works. Overall, it ok.

I got what I paid for. Does the job that its supposed to do. Everyone should keep the price of the product in mind. Its cheaper than other products, so don't compare its quality with other expensive products.

This did not work to connect my laptop (MacBook Pro 2014 with an HDMI port) to an external monitor over VGA (no picture & flashing), but it worked fine to connect my Nintendo Switch to the same monitor. Since it worked for 1/2 of what I wanted it for, and considering the price, I kept it.

This is a great device for switching your keyboard, mouse, and screen between two computers that you use at the same time. It works pretty well and seems like the only reasonably priced decent product on Amazon that does this.The indicator light actually has two LED bulbs inside it so you can tell which output is active by whether the right or left of the indicator is lit up. The lights are aligned to the physical ports which makes it easier to tell what is connected to what. It comes with two USB male to male cables with a square end that you will see in the photos. It does not come with VGA cables, and if you want to use the screen function, you will need 3 VGA cables. Because the outputs are VGA, you might need an adaptor from your computer and/or monitor because often they do not support VGA these days.HDMI to VGA adaptors are your best option if you have the opportunity because DVI requires an active (powered) adaptor (you'll see some passive adaptors but they are a variant that is not compatible with most DVI-D cables.)After you press the button, it takes about 3 seconds for the keyboard to switch to the other computer. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether the computer is booted into an operating system or in bios. However, it seems to detect powered off computers and not switch to them.
