I had a hard time getting this piece installed as it did not come with any directions. When i finally did get it installed, it didn't turn on at all. It was such a waste of time, I cannot even come close to recommending this product.

I had it installed professionally as the old pipe was old and rusted; I didn't want to break something removing it. The installer said the mixer piece is for propane gas, not natural gas and fit better without it in our fireplace. So nice to have new, perfect functioning, open holes gas lighter.
