Unfortunately I had to return it, the apparatus I was repairing already had an air mixer built into the assembly. I didn’t need two of them.I would buy this again if the need arises.

The quality seems good, and it was very easy to install. I agree with another reviewer that it would be nice to have a little more flame control than 1/4 turn, but that's not a huge deal. I'm not sure, though, that the Air Mixer Valve works at all. I've triple checked to make sure it's installed in the proper direction, but the unit keeps producing significant black soot. I wipe off the pan after each use and within five minutes of running the flame, it's dark again. My glass is now starting to darken as well. This is annoying as it was one of the deciding factors in why I purchased this unit.Anyone have any suggestions? Could not find a link, or website, to reach the manufacturer directly.

Decided to upgrade my fire pit. Gutted everything and bought this. Works great. Great flame and up to 18-20 inch flames. Easy install. Had to modify a little to accommodate valve. Love it.

It works as advertised for a propane connection. I have used it several times on my revamped fire pit, and it works great. For my install, I was not sure if the fire pit I ordered would have a male or female connector, so interchangeable brass part was a sure bet. If you don’t already have some, get some gas rated teflon tape. You will need this for the connection and for the brass coupler part, if you find you need it.
