- Include a 1/2"NPT X 1/2" male flare fitting ball gas control valve and a teflon tape with a 22" 1/2" OD Female Flare Whistle free corrugated pipe.
- This kit is exact item replace the Mr Heater Model F271239 used on gas appliance.

Purchased to hook-up new gas logs. Standard sizes and connections, working well, no leaks. These will never move and seemed to be made of actual metal. (The only thing that will ever go wrong is if they start to leak and there's a catastrophic gas leak and fire that blows up my house. If I survive, I'll be sure to come back and leave an angry review.)

IF you're comfortable doing gas connections this is perfectly OK for a gas cooktop. May need extra parts if you need to move the regulator, but if not then the supplied 1/2" NPT and flare fittings are fine. Use the blue or yellow UL listed teftape with white pipe dope over it. This was supplied with yellow ptfe tape. Flex pipe is 3/8: if your regulator outlet is larger, you might need a bigger flex line (probably not, but maybe) if you run all the burners at once.Don't forget to put detergent/water mix on every joint and look for bubbles (leaks) after everything is hooked up. Bottom line: good enough, and around half the price of the home store equivalent.
