I purchased them as a gift. I checked them out when they arrived, then I put them in a box and mailed them. I wasn't there when they were opened, but I got a great big "thank you" from the recipient. Hope that helps.

Very light weight. Handles sturdy. Insulated? I'm not so sure. Hot coffee...heat goes right through wall so much that you need a glove or cloth to "insulate" your hand from the metal cup. Another insulated mug stayed cool outside with boiling water inside. Careful drinking...the wall edge can burn your lips. Still, glad to have it and a little caution is worth the coffee staying hot longer (warm drinkable after 1 1/2 hours). Had to buy extra s/s lids (8.5cm), non insulated-would be great to have included insulated lids.

Bought as a tenth anniversary gift (tin cups). Couple hike and camp. I especially liked that the carabiner is included so you can hang it on your pack.

I love everything about this pair of camping mugs! They come with a bag with carabiner clips, so you can attach them to a backpack or other bag. That was a very nice touch! I'm going to be keeping them in my camper, so it's nice to have the bag so they don't bounce around during my travels and get damaged.The color is really nice and they fold up nicely to fit in the bag. The folding handles are a nice addition. I love that they come in a two pack, as it's nice to have a matching set. They are so lightweight, and I was able to get rid of two heavier glass mugs out of my camper, which saves towing weight!Would absolutely order these again!
