I like the size and design, light and sturdy. I liked it so much I bought a second one. My first one did end up with a slight crack on the rim but It's natural wood and it's expected. It didn't ruin the functionality or leak so I'm still happy and it adds more character to the cup

Good quality and can handle an 80 gram dose of coffee beans easily. My medium sized hand fits well over the top of it to shake the contents for a good stir. The leather strap adds to the ambiance of Nord culture.

Wood cup seems it could be of good quality. But not the piece that I received. Arrived with large crack through half of the cup. Was carved from the center of a log, which is where it is cracked from. Sending back, and reordering with hopes for better quality.*after receiving the replacement in 2 days, this product appears to have 2 revisions. the first one had dimpling inside the cup and jute twine string. the replacement has smooth inside and heavier twine, as well as a better attention to detail with the inlay and overall craftsmanship. i am very pleased with this model.

This wooden cup is precisely as advertised. It is small, so not a soup bowl, though I do eat small soup servings with it. I take it camping and it hangs off my belt and is always at the ready. DO NOT WASH as you would with normal dishes. Mild detergent and warm water can crack the wood. If you drink coffee from it, run many cups of black coffee in it without washing to seal the pores.

Just received this so not sure of the long term. It seems as though it will hold up for the foreseeable future. Beautiful craftsmanship and a very rustic look.Update 5/12/24 my favorite piece of gear, I wax it every time I come back from a trip. It’s holding up perfectly.
