I will start by saying we have small kids so things have to actually be “sturdy”. This did not stand up to the test of 2 and 3 year old playing with and dropping them. This mug got dropped one time and immediately there were flakes and shards of enamel all over the floor.

Cups are great, nice quality. Better than the traditional "camping" brand. I'd buy these again, but will probably never need too.

We really love these cups. They are a lot heavier duty than the ones you typically find in the store with the silver rim. They keep your coffee hot and I liked the shape of the handle as well. These were shipped quickly and arrived packaged well with lots of bubble wrap. These cups are going to be great for our camping trips this summer!

This mug/coffee pot style holds sentimental value to me from my childhood, and this speckled blue pattern enamel is just what I was seeking. These are great: they are a good size, a smidge smaller than the "average" coffee mug (maybe about the same as a typical diner mug), which is perfect for camping since they take up a bit less room and will help a single pot fill more cups while the next one brews. I'll be using them at home for sentimental vibes more than anything, but they are great for wrapping my hands around on a cold morning (once it cools down a bit, of course, since this style of mug is thinner than a typical ceramic mug and thus obviously warmer to the touch) outside with the dogs to have that camping feeling. (I find the handles satisfactory, as well. That's a subjective thing, of course, but it can really diminish how I feel about a mug. These don't bug me in any way, and that is all I'm after in an enamel camping mug.) I'm happy with these and would recommend and/or gift to a friend. (They are better quality than some cheaper versions I've seen.)

Now that I have kids, my wife and I have a simple rule. No matter how cool a piece of drinkware is, we don't order it if it's not dishwasher safe.I grew up with cups like this and my brother and I would always fight over who got to drink out of them. When I saw them available, I really wanted to get a set for my kids too. I know how tough and durable they are, but when I saw that these were dishwasher safe, I knew I had to have them!I'm super happy with them! They have that classic camping mug look and finish. The enamel coating on the outside is incredibly tough and will stand up to loads of use.They're lighter weight than glass, but heavier than plastic, so they're not easy to knock over or spill. They've got a generously sized handle, so all hand sizes should feel equally comfortable holding these.They're great for hot or cold beverages, so they're actually practical for using on camping trips. Best of all, they clean up in a snap.Love these cups and I'm so happy my kids will get to enjoy them as well.

I've mostly moved to larger, better insulated mugs with spill-proof covers for my camping trips. But I saw this set and had to have it for the nostalgia. And now that my kids are old enough to take them camping, it's nice to have some mugs that are a little smaller and a little less expensive for them to use.I just got back from a 3 day trip and the mugs performed as expected. I ran them through the dishwasher before we left, and then wedged them into an overstuffed bin of camp kitchen equipment and banged them around all weekend, including hanging them off carabiners and hiking around. None of them had a scratch on them when we packed up. The dried residue of hot chocolate was easy to scrub off when I found one I'd missed washing. And since they're not double wall insulated, they transferred heat nicely to my 5 year old son's cold little fingers on our rainy camp weekend.I have great memories of using similar classic blue enamel campware like this growing up, and I'm glad to be able to give my kids those same memories. I have zero regrets about these mugs, even if mug technology has improved over the years.
