I decided to convert my drop bar road bike to flat bar and bike has Shimano 105 drive train and found the Tiargra 10 speed shifters. Older Shimano 105 and the current Tiagra 10 speed shifters supposedly have different cable pull ratio and all reports online said these would not work well. I took a chance and for me they work flawless, crisp shifting through all gears for front compact double and rear 10 speed gearing. I was also going to go with Tiagra brake levers, but ended up with Sora brake levers and they also work great. All in all after 4 rides of 22-30 miles each, Tiagra shifters have been awesome and if you have older Shimano 105 drivetrain like me and want to do flat bar conversion, these are a great option.

Super reliable shifting, love the dual action trigger on the shift to smaller cogs and the fast multiple shift to larger cogs. Very important to know, they only work with the matching rear derailure due to the updated pull ratio.
