I replaced the stock twist-grip on my Brilliant L Train with this trigger shifter. It works fine.This shifter is larger than expected. Further, it requires more effort shifting up (i.e. adding tension) than I expected. I'm satisfied with this trigger shifter. I like having normal-sized grips without a flared twist portion.The kit comes with the shifter, a pre-attached cable, and a threaded "button" end which attaches to the hub. The kit does not come with cable housing.Replacing the shift cable on a Nexus Inter 7 hub is more difficult than replacing a derailleur cable. Don't expect to rush through the task.
