Application and Notice
Which Material or Condition?
- Drilling hard granite, marble, engineering stone, concrete, brick,masonry and all similar materials
- Ideal for drilling the faucet mounting holes in stone countertops, plumbing lines in showers and vanities
- Dry or Wet Drilling - use wet will greatly prolong the segment life
Which Machine?
- With 5/8-Inch-11 Thread; Easily operate on Angle Grinder
- If you fit them on drill or other machine, you need an adapter, such as SDS, hex, Round plus shank...
Notice:
- Do not use this bit in hammer or Impact mode
- Do not give too much pressure or sway the core bits when working
- If find hard to drill, take a break and check the segments.
- If the segment become blunt, please try to sharp it by drilling a hole on the abrasive concrete and then continue to drill the hard material.
Operation Tips for Laser Welded Diamond Dry core bits
- 1.Fix it on angle grinder tightly and rightly
- 2.Turn on the angle grinder and let the bit rotating in the air to check if there is balance problem
- 3.Hold the machine very steadily and give gentle pressure
- 4. Start drilling as per following instructions:
- 1) place the drill at a 30 degree angle, it will help to position
- 2) Drilling the material till the hole start to form
- 3) Bring the drill up into upright position slowly then keep drilling vertically.

Step 1

Installed lights in my brick paver driveway, used this bit to drill the holes through 3 inches of solid brick. No problems at all, I set up a garden hose to trickle water going down drill bit through hole and this bit has lasted a long time. Money well spent

The bit worked well cutting through a granite countertop. I've only cut one hole so far so I can't evaluate its durability. Tje bit was nice and thick and fit perfectly on my angle grinder. The price is very good and shipped promptly.

I can't speak to it's longevity or durability as I only needed it for this one job, but it's a well built tool. It went through the tile and concrete in a couple minutes. Wasn't great at going through the wood. It pretty much burned it's way through sub floor. For this 4in diameter I recommend using a plug-in grinder for the power.Overall happy with the performance and ease of use. Definitely use earplugs, a mask and safety goggles. It makes a lot of dust. Follow the instructions. The hole was exactly where I wanted it, did not walk off center at all.

I cut a 1 ½ inch hole in 2” thick ornamental rock with my small Bosch 4.5” grinder. Used water to cool and wash out the dust. Was amazed at how quick the hole was cut. Excellent bit!!

I bought one of these a year ago to make holes in ceramic tile, porcelain and stone. In the past, I have had to buy a new bit for each bathroom remodel that I did at the cost of $30.00ea. I can’t recall how many times I have reused this bit with the same clean cut each time. Unfortunately I left it at a job and had to buy another one. This one cuts but not as clean. Constancy is important to me. Great product for the price. It pays for itself quickly.
