Wow! This scooter/bike lock is super high quality. It has a smooth, sleek, modern appearance. It actually is fairly simple to operate, once you follow the detailed directions that are included.What I was surprised by is the overall weight of this-its substantial. I wanted this for my e-scooter, but the weight is too prohibitive to easily carry around in order to lock it up. I need a lighter lock in order to be easily transportation.I only reduced this by one review star, because I absolutely love this product! I'm using it for securing an item at my home. This is beautifully made, and there are many uses for this excellent quality lock.I feel this lock is a great value!

This is a great option to lock up a scooter that can be tricky to fit a chain around. This lock gives the option to attach to almost anything as an anchor, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an option other than just a chain lock.

I use this for my e scooter and I love it. Don’t like carrying keys so a combination lock was a must. Heavy but if it was lighter it wouldn’t be a tough lock to cut.

To all the people complaining about this "Heavy Duty" lock being to Heavy Duty, enjoy having you light weight lock and chain cut with ease by bolt cutters and your expensive E-Bike or E-Scooter easily picked up and thrown in the back of a pick-up by thieves that go around all day and target E-Bikes and E-Scooters. I literally watched that exact scenario happen in broad daylight. Took the dude less than a minute and he and his driver were gone. That would not have happened if that E-Bike had this lock on it. You're going to need industrial bolt cutters to get through this chain design. Definitely a theft deterrent when you feel the weight of it. It's only around 4 lbs which may not sound very heavy. The sleeve is weather and heat resistant yet flexible and adds another layer of security to try and get through. If a thief gets through the sleeve, they are met with nice fat heavy duty links of heat treated hardened magnesium steel. Good luck with that!! The handcuff style locks on the ends are coated with an industrial type polymer so they dont scratch whatever they are clamped down to. You can open the locks with the provided keys or with a combination passcode that you can set yourself . I love this chain lock and I love knowing my Expensive E-Bike will still be securely attached to whatever I lock it to when i come back for it. Quit complaining about an extra 4-5 lbs in your backpack. You could use the exercise. I totally recommend this lock to anyone that leaves a $500 -$1000 or more E-scooter or E-Bike anywhere in a public area and does not want it immediately stolen.

I returned this lock because of how heavy it is. 5lbs is a significant amount of weight when you're on the go. It's also a concentrated weight, being that it's small in size. I'm sure they're secure, but if you just need some mild security for your scooter, to do a little shopping let's say, they're probably too much.

Works as intended. Feels heavy-duty. Use for my scooter sometimes. Combo and key is good to have. Only complaint is hard to see numbers on lock. Good thing for the key

I’ve used this lock for my electric scooter a few times and it works fine! Not a lightweight lock. Weighs 4.7 lbs (75.4 oz.)
