I‘ve used several bike locks, but this bike chain lock stands out because of its dual- unlocking feature, allowing you to unlock it with either a 4- digit code or key. I usually prefer using the combination to avoid carrying keys, but having the key as a backup in case I forget the code is a huge advantage, especially for items like my electric scooter that I lock up often. The chain is make of durable metal links, and while it may not provide top-tier security, it’s more than enough for securing mid- range value items like bikes and scooters. I also appreciate the flexibility of the chain design, which allows me to lock my scooter even in tight spaces -something a rigid U- lock can’t do. Plus the ability to change the combination makes it easy to share access with someone temporarily, and then reset it afterward for added security. Overall, this lock is convenience, flexibility, and reliable security.

I got this chain lock for my electric scooter that I use on and around my college campus. I recently had a U lock and saw this with the code option, so I thought it would be worth a shot. So far, I love it! The whole thing is a metal chain link with the option to unlock using a 4-digit code OR a key! This is really convenient for when you don't have your keys or just in general! I also like that this lock is flexible (chain link vs a solid U lock) so you can fit your lock to your scooter or bike even when there's not much space! Would absolutely recommend this product!

The main distinguishing feature of this bike lock is the dual-unlocking option feature. It can be unlocked by both 4 digit combination and by turning a key! I've never seen this feature before and think it'll be a game changer. I usually prefer to use a combination since I don't want to commit to carrying keys, but I'll like to have the key as a backup or failsafe option if I forget the combo. there is one item I lock up but may go 6 months before using it again, so likely to forget the combo. Now I can stash a key for use as a backup.But, letting my imagination run... I see scenarios where I might want to grant friends temporary access to a locked-up item, and since the combination is easy to change, it won't be hard to share the number, then change it later to ensure the item stays secure. And I get to keep the keyOtherwise seems solid and secure. Not HIGH security, but good for locking up a $100-200 item.
