Grid consists of 81 individual squares with an alpha-numeric index that enables fast and convenient locating of cells and organisms. Each square fills one low powered field approximately 100X magnification. Glass slides are standard 1' x 3' size with an imprinted white permanent grid that is resistant to stains and common reagents. Supplied 72 slides per package.

The packaging was poor because the slide container was open on one side... maybe from being returned. There was some popcorn stuffing.... When I took out of box the container lid also fell off cause 5 slide to fall out and break. The container is a flimsy plastic. I would rather have less slides and a better quality case.I like the slides for scaffolding field of view lessons.
