These stage micrometers are great for teaching purposes and a great value for the price

The glass slide is thin and even though it was in a case, it came in broken in pieces.

Wir verwenden den Objektträger zu externen Kalibrierung unseres Mikroskopes. Die Skalierung tut genau, was sie soll - nicht mehr, aber nicht weniger, die Qualität stimmt. Lieferung war schnell und gut verpackt.

I have attached photos (but it looks like Amazon may have rotated them, both micrometers are supposed to be horizontal). These were taken on a Nikon Eclipse E200 at 400x and 100x to calibrate the ocular micrometer. Seems pretty good, comes wrapped in tissue paper inside a low profile plastic storage case. Great affordable price for a student as well.

There are no numbers on it or I would give it 5 stars because of the price. Other microscope stores sell them for a lot more money. It looks like mine was used (a little dirty) but I don't care.

Good product. I bought it for home use to calibrate our child's microscope (which has a camera). Curious, I took it to work and checked against a Nikon measuring microscope, and proved that this MR095 is good to 1 micron or better. So, I bought another MR095 to keep at work for quickly checking other microscope and macro-camera setups.

The quality is fine but there are no instructions. You have to register your info and a code to get them. My code said it didn't work that it was already registered. All of AM scopes stuff is this this way and it's a complete pain!

Checked against recently calibrated standard, and this was on within the resolution limit of the microscope, both for scale and for linearity. (res limit is about 3microns) This should be handy as an inexpensive, low concern, scale for normal use, leaving the expensive one protected in the cabinet unless it is really needed.

for this price people can afford to have a spare. too many microscopists have no idea of the exact magnification and just believe the magnification on the lenses. In the many labs I am in, hardly anyone calibrates the microscope even when they take pictures.I wish they could be made unbreakable, maybe printed scale on plastic and make it even cheaper.

The 0,01mm spaced lines are clear and evenly spaced even up to 1000x magnification. Using a National Optical 610-160R WF10X Eyepiece with Reticle, 10mm/100 Divisions 10 divisions map almost perfectly to 10 0.01mm lines on this calibration slide.
