Count or measure cells and estimate the size or length of microscopic or semi-micro objects. Versatile - Compatible with different styles of microscopes (conventional, inverted or dissecting). Virtually all cells and specimens placed on top of Slide-Grids can be counted and/or sized. Dry Or Wet - Use with dry specimens or suspended specimens such as cells held in buffer under cover slips. Separate cover slips can be placed over each Slide-Grid. Chemically Inert - Made of polyester with an acrylic adhesive. Slide-Grids are inert and stable under most laboratory conditions.

Do they work? Yes. Are they easy? No. I went through a ton of these trying to get as few bubbles as possible underneath. The problem is that even if it looks like there aren't bubbles, a look under the microscope reveals microscopic bubbles that you can't really remove.These aren't terrible, but its better to spend the extra money to get a reusable slide with a grid already on it.

My high school students dropped 2hemacytometer slides and purchasing new ones does not fit into our school's budget. I was looking for an alternative that i could use in my classroom to count plankton and these were perfect. I bougt them with my own money, but i wish they were available on shop DOE so that they could be bought through school budget
