These did what I needed which was to hoist/lift heavy furniture off the floor and onto a trailer. They’re durable enough but there is a lot of stretch in the rope so for a tie down they’d need to be very tight to stay secure. Replacing the rope would be easy.

used for looping around our pear tree to pull the lower branches up and tighter to the main body of the tree.Hooked it on a large branch and threaded the long cord all around lower/wide branched and pulled to hoist everything closer together.Works perfectly for my need.
