Precautions:
1. Please use the standard battery cables we sent, or a full power output may not be guaranteed. And the fuse are just spare parts.
2. Please do not connect the inverter with the grid power, and a reverse connection of positive and negative is also forbidden.
3. Please do not overload. If your applications are inductive loads, please choose the inverters whose continuous power is 3-7 times higher than the watts of your appliances. If you want to power up a refrigerator, we suggest you use 10 times higher power inverter.
4. Please turn off the load first then turn off the inverter. And as there is a soft start function, please turn on the inverter first then turn on your loads, or the output may not stable at the first seconds.
5. For a red light flashing, it is a kind reminder to note you the input voltage is a bit high, you can regardless of it. If the input is too high, the inverter will shut down automaticly.
6. The output voltage can be adjusted in a little range.

This small 1500w does good for small things. I have run my 2 refrigerators and 2 freezers as well as lights and tv at the same time. It struggles to run even the smallest 5k air conditioner. It wasn't designed to run that much, but the 3000w will. Know what you want to do and err on the size of larger if you are guessing which size you need. I use this when my energy needs are low and need lower energy consumption during extended power outages.I haven't run this unit much, but have used the 3000w almost daily for 8-12 hours. The last one lasted a year when I blew it up. Lightening took one out and a cross connection took out another one. Do isolate both the hot and neutral if you hard-wire to a panel or transfer switch.

Trying to use a little welder in my barn. The welder wont run in modified sine wave so I upgraded to the pure sine wave unit in 5000watt 12v volt. The welder starts and sounds normal but wont weld. Just get an overload alarm on the inverter. The instructions say that if your unit comes with more than two cables (1 positive and 1 negative) that you must use them all. Mine came with 2 of each in #4 gauge. No chance! Didn't do anything. I ended up upgrading the cables to 0000 (4/0) gauge and added four more batteries (8 total) to get the welder to work.

I bought this inverter for use when power is out at my ski condo. I have a transfer switch for a generator input but I didn't want to store gas and have to worry about stabilizing gas and cleaning carburetors and such. So I got a 1KW inverter from an auto store and made a cheater cable to connect the single-phase inverter output to the split-phase generator input socket. It worked, but it couldn't run the fractional horsepower motor in the central heating system. The furnace (a modern high eff. double conversion gas furnace) would come on and burn but when it heated to the point that the whole-house fractional horsepower blower started, the small inverter would overload and cut off. Then cycle all over again and again.Reading the specs carefully, the 2X wattage "peak power" that *every* inverter claims is only good for a millisecond or two. While a motor takes many seconds to rev up so -- no dice. So I bought this WZRELB Reliable 4000W Solar Power Inverter 12VDC to 120V for it's 4KW continuous power rating. It comes with two set of (#5 gauge or so) power leads which I hooked up to heavy duty batter clamps. I hook this on my car battery run a 50 foot #12 to the generator cheater and start the car. The car *has* to be running or the inverter will suck the life out of a battery. In fact, at these power levels, the input to the inverter will dip below cutoff if the car's charging system is not supporting the battery. The inverter and AC wiring can handle the surges but the car's alternator and battery cannot sustain that forever. But car batteries being what they are: there to start the car for a few seconds, they can start a large AC motor for a few seconds, too. As long as the inverter and AC wiring can handle it. This one does.I've used this on top of my car's air filter in a snow storm and it starts my furnace fan just fine,, many lights, too -- LEDs with dimmers and they all worked. The surge capacity can handle anything Iv'e thrown at it. Just can't leave more than about 1.5KW sustained or I'll exceed the 130 amp alternator and start draining my battery.

I now own 3 reliable inverters. Two 24 volt and one 12 volt. My 24 volt has been running continously for 6 months without any problems, running a medium sized fridge, lights and a 260 watt gaming computer. All three inverters are 1500 watts. I try to keep the loads down to 1000 watts or less. Excellent inverters. The customer service is also excellent. Very attentive and helpful. FYI ..always use heavy gauge input wires. They can never be to large but they can easily be too small. Lots of amps going from the batteries to the inverters. Rule of thumb for all inverters. Also use a 200 amp fuze in between batteries and inverter.

Smoke came out when trying to start air conditioner which uses 1,000 watts. I'm not sure how much surge this AC makes when starting, but it destroyed the inverter the first time I plugged the AC into it. There was a poping noise and then smoke came out of the inverter. Wish I had tried it when it first arrived instead of trusting it would work when everything else was ready. There is no way mine would make 4KW continuous and 8KW surge. Probably too late to return it, so a complete loss the first time it was used. Will probably delay my boat trip waiting for a different one to arrive (will be buying a different manufacturers product to replace this)

I connected this inverter to 4 group 29 marine batteries in my trailer. I have 5000 and 13500 BTU AC units. It powered the 13500 BTU unit on a 100 degree day for 1.5 hours before the batteries got low. Started my generator which is only connected to a 100 amp battery charger. The AC unit then continued on the inverter just fine. It powered the 5000 BTU unit all night with no generator and I made coffee with my Keurig coffee pot in the morning. Still had 12 volts on my batteries. Worked great.

The price was right and for a 12 volt system this inverter provides clean power but not up to 1500 watts. I still rated 5 stars for the price, fast shipping and what it can still do but it's more like a 1000W inverter. I tried running a 1250 surge load with 850 running watts and the inverter said no. 12 volt systems are for small things, I'm moving up to 48 volt and getting another one of these inverters rated for 48.. I'm confident it will meet my needs.
