Worked for 3 days, then red fault light. Switched from a 12v Aims Power, thought Id save a little money, but this unit is getting returned and be replaced with another Aims Power inverter

Don't bother buying this unit especially if you have a solar pv array of less than 2Kw. This inverter is a 'gas-hog', so to speak as it draws 3.5+ amps 24/7 (84Ah) without any load on it. If you do run anything off this inverter, just understand that it will draw 3.5 amps plus whatever you are powering... Not efficient if you have an off-grid system using this unit. Tech support is useless when trying to get an answer on the amperage draw. I've been unable to get my batteries fully charged because I lose a minimum of 35 amp hours after the sun sets....and that is IF I don't run anything :(

I bought this product about a year ago. It has never really operated correctly, always flicking the lights in a major way several times when it switches over to shore power. It finally just stopped switching over when the batteries get low. It is supposed to have a warranty but they make you jump through hoops time and again to do the diagnostic on it through websites that don’t work well. Finally they sent a control board you install yourself. The unit worked for about a week then failed again then they want to start the hoop jumping diagnostic all over again. I’m so tired of it. It’s broke, and they should’ve sent me another one. I bought the insurance on it offered at checkout and so far they refuse to follow through so that I own a working unit. I’m so fed up!

This SUNGOLDPOWER 6000W Inverter Charger, 24 Vdc and 240 Vac Input, 120V/240V AC Output looks like it is well- made and designed to function very well for off- grid applications, etc. I ordered this one but received a 4000 watt- 12v inverter with a 240-v output- at least the 240-volt output part -is what I ordered. Hauled it 200 miles out to a remote project- opened the box and saw that it was marked- 4000 watts-12volt input- 240 output and I was totally disappointed at the least. Sent it back- thank you Amazon- an excellent company- and ordered another one from a different company- just in case- I need the right inverter!

The good - haven't had any troubles with the unit, hooked it up and it has ran without issue thus far. It works great at delivering big loads. I hooked up an air compressor, ran a circular saw, with an incandescent light bulb on and the start up draw didn't even dim the light. Also powers the a/c unit on my RV with ease.What you should know before you buy -> there's a price to pay for the big power. The unit consumes 89W in the ON position with no load (3.4A draw) so make sure you factor in this parasitic load when sizing your system. The auto feature only kicks in when there is a large current draw. With smaller draws such as a light or a refrigerator (under 5A), the unit either won't turn on or it will pulse on and off.

I bought this inverter four months ago, and it is working as desired. I had a question on battery selection, and support was very helpful answering my question. The inverter has no power pulling the load off my off grid house. I run 2 MrCool, 220V, 18000BTUs each, and it has no issues handling the load with both running at the same time. Also have tested microwave, coffeemaker, induction cooktop, hair drier, hair straightener, etc, and runs with no issues.The inverter is heavy, and you will most likely need some help getting it mounted. Other than that it was easy to setup.

Originally purchased and used a cheaper High Frequency version that only provided 220v and I had to run a separate 110v inverter. Was not very happy with either one. I then purchased the SUNGOLDPOWER 6000W Max 18000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter. This unit provides both 110 and 220 Directly to my breaker panel. This has worked very well to run my 220v well pump as well as my barn lighting, Concrete mixer, and music as needed while working on the farm. It even runs my air compressor without hesitation. I am very satisfied with this product. I was unhappy when the control board failed. The company however was exceptional in working with me to get a replacement board under warranty. I would recommend this for any off grid setup as I have used it.

I bought my 6000 watt sungoldpower inverter on February 5 2021. There was some mix up in which the inverter was sent out but unfortunately I didn't recieved this inverter. Amazon says the inverter is lost. So I contacted sungoldpower via email From the begin their customer representatives was very helpful in dealing with the matter. After doing a preliminary investigation.They was very understanding of what had taken place with my inverter which I had purchased. They had a new unit sent to me which was received yesterday very prompt in their deal and sending. I have nothing but highest respect and praise for the support team at sungoldpower if I could call any names from the team I would call a big shout out to Cindy . This person is always there with me right through and through until it was delivered.Thank you Cindy and the team at sungoldpower .I would recommend their products and service among the best in the world.The inverter works great too does what they it do.
