I found this unit was offered by several vendors with different name plates and different prices. This was the best deal and it works great !

We bought the 4000W unit for our off the grid cabin. We have a 240v AC generator to operate our well pump, and solar panels to charge LiFePo batteries. Typically only need to pump water to a storage tank every 2-3 days, but the charging function of the SunGoldPower unit allows the generator to top off the batteries whenever it runs. This also gives us a backup charging source for extended cloudy days. The 4000W capacity gives us plenty of power for operating power tools without having to fire up the generator.

Since purchasing and installing the 4000-watt inverter, I have gone totally electrical in my RV.The inverter is running all the electronics, T mobile business internet, wifi, and my simplisafe system. My 6,000 BTU, 115V, 21.5 SEER2 Ductless Mini Split AC/Heating System, 115v 6 gal. Water heater. 115v 1000-watt microwave.1500 watt air fryer. And many more items in the RV. In the last 4 months that I have gone off-grid, this inverter has worked falsely. I highly recommend this 4000 watt inverter. Install pics. Included.

I had some questions on the set up and the dip switches a nice person in China. Exchanged emails with me over a period of a couple of hours and resolved all my questions. Unit runs excellent very happy.

I bought this in may/2023. The screen on remote has gone out. It was a trick to fine A CUSTOMER SERVICE.! That new what they were talking about.UPDATE: I am now working with customer service. Will update again.UPDATE: Worked out my problem with customer service. It turned out to be the LAN cable to remote. Had to buy my own, though remote screen is now working. Thanks to the SunGoldPower web site Customer Service. They were very patient with me through a few transactions :-). Thank You SunGoldPower.

Short version: This thing is a BEAST! It out performs its specs for a fraction of the cost of other options. It starts and runs ALL THREE of my 13.5k BTU Coleman/Mach ACs without soft starts! (Ambient temperature of 80F, probably wouldn't do all three at 90F.)Long Version:I set out on a project to build a high performance RV solar system with for as little money as possible. Everyone knows the big names in all the YouTube videos, but they have a huge price to go with their famously great performance. I chose this inverter/charger because its performance specs and footprint fit my needs and the price was pretty surprising considering SunGoldPower was a name I'd seen before.I bench tested the unit when it arrived and was completely ready to send it right back if it didn't live up to its specs. I found it could indeed push out more than the rated 4000W for way longer than the surge window. I didn't have wire big enough to hold that discharge rate from my battery bank for too long, but definitely long enough to be very impressed. After installing and using bigger wire, I'm sure it could hold a bit more than 4000W indefinitely, but even 6 inches of 4/0 AWG gets HOT at 340 amps. (For all you electrical engineers, I don't need schooling on why that's not enough wire, I never run it like that outside of testing. For DIYers thinking of doing what I did, this thing is too much for you if you don't have some kind of experience and education with high draw electrical work.)The most shocking part of this whole experiment was, as I said in the short version, it can start and run all three of my rooftop ACs without using soft starts to break through the locked rotor amps. We tend to stay out of hot (and cold) weather, so that was not in southern summer heat, but considering my OEM 2000W wouldn't start even one of them, I was super impressed. The unit is HEAVY because it has to be. The transformer in this thing is an absolute juggernaut, which is how it can start those ACs - the power of a massive iron core. The case and overall construction are very sturdy as well. I have it mounted to the floor of the storage bay area in a motorhome and after 10k miles through deserts and mountains, the vibration and jarring hasn't affected it at all.My setup includes a second transfer switch that puts the inverter power straight into the Intellitec power management system at the breaker box as if it were shore power and recognizes it as a 30 amp circuit because theirs only 1 leg. This inverter was really the perfect thing for my configuration because the Intellitec sheds loads before the inverter gets to its max output (about 33 amps) leaving some breathing room. The attached picture shows the Intellitec with 2 ACs running at 78F ambient temperature. The rest of the system includes 2160 watts of solar via 3x60amp charge controllers and 1400 AH of LiFePO4 battery packs. Using all of this, we've played around with doing goofy things like using the electric side of the water heater with the washer/dryer and running heat pumps instead of LP furnaces. On the practical side, I have a medical condition that requires sleeping at 65F (long story), so we run the bedroom AC all night. Considering we didn't plug into electricity for the first 6 months of this year, the system is solid and the inverter has proven itself thoroughly. There's always a downside, and for us, it's the lack of sexy telemetry like phone apps and such. Our version didn't even have the new remote with display, just the Eco/Off/Full switch. But we did have a separate smart shunt to tell us what was going on with the batteries, and in the real world, that tells us what we really need to know. Now that we've really used the system long enough for it to just be part of our lives, I don't really think about having the bells and whistles anymore... especially not when I ponder the fact I spent a quarter on my system that anyone else I've met spent on similar capabilities.
