I will begin with all of the positives. The pading, stitching, glove contours are very good! The velcro amount and location greatly affect wrist support. There either needs to be a longer strip of velcro at the first contact point or more different location for the velcro, because zlno matter how loose or tight you wrap the strap around the fit & wrist support always feels off!The angle that the finger support padding needs to be engineered at a similar angle like how a fist "actually closes"! The finger support is exactly horizontal, resulting in you Necer being able to close your Pinky finger tight for a closed fist!!! If/ when that change is made very few gloves would be able to compeate!!!!!

I'm 5'6" and currently 145lbs. They're a little big for my hands but I don't mind. The material is good quality as advertised. I haven't used them yet. I'm not too concerned about the stitching (as I've seen some people complain about it; I have no faulty stitching on my gloves as far as I can see). Although, if need be, I'll just take it to my cobbler to have the stitching reinforced if it burst. My concern was getting a high quality material for the padding and the glove exterior and they delivered.

Loving these gloves so far. I’m a small female and have been dipping my toes into mma. The small fit me well, provides enough padding, and allows me to grapple and strike without having to adjust the gloves. A really great glove for people who spar mma or for the beginners to do bag work

I used to use some dirt-cheap gloves with okay-ish padding on them and really screwed my knuckles once I started working up the heavy bag - but these gloves saved my life I been using them daily and so far they have held up good. Great fit, padding and definitely protected my knuckles from any other serious injuries

I’m a traditional Martial Artist but I’m hip to modern training and respect reality based combat, fighting and self defense. I will do a few rounds of bag work with these. Still getting comfortable with them around the wrist area. On heavy bag contact, my wrist feels a little shaky? Now TBH I have small wrist for my size. But still, I don’t get the same feeling when I use MMA gloves? I think it’s because of the rounded Padding shape of the gloves.I use a lot of open hand techniques in my system and this where these gloves come in handy. Unlike boxing gloves, I can transition between checks, counters deflection and attacks better.I’ve done some light contact and they hold up well. I was able to strike and defend stop some takedown attempts. You definitely have to be conscious of striking though. Bad techniques in heated exchanges might cause injuries.Truth be told I’m working more and more with these because I do like them. So this is more about the person then you he tool. Become more accurate on stressful situation is gonna be the key for using these gloves. All my product are from RDX so I have faith if they make a updated version it will improve on some things.

I use these as heavy bag gloves in my neighborhood gym. They work better than actual bag gloves for me, since the open palms/fingers allow me to work in pull-ups, dips, weights, jump rope, etc, all without having to remove the gloves multiple times and mess up my hand wraps in the process. I have been using them steadily four months now for 3x 40 minutes sessions on the heavy bag/week. They are starting to scuff some on the punching surface, but are still in very good condition and show no signs of breaking/unravelling/tearing/etc...My only con is that the leather loops that hold the gloves to your fingers are fairly unforgiving. I had many a blister and open sore develop, especially on my pinky finger/knuckle, for the first few months until I really broke these in. Making sure you keep a very tight fist helps to mitigate this, but even then I still had some discomfort until they were broken in fully. This would not stop me from getting a second pair when my current set wears out. They are a great pair of gloves at this price point. My gym owner liked them so much he is buying a few pairs to stock the gym with for general use (but buy your own pair, so they break in to your hand, and so you don't share nasty sweaty hand-germy gloves with God knows how many other people!).

I teach kung-fu and fight often; I love these gloves! These are perfect for being able to hit HARD without busting your hand, and allow you to grab/throw/sweep your opponent and strike with open palms as well. As a teacher, these see a lot of use, and I've had two pairs in play for over 2 years with zero failure of any kind. I wouldn't recommend these for someone who goes to the ground though, get something more MMA oriented. They do take some time breaking them in- when they show up and they're not subtle glove leather, put them on, get all sweaty fighting, and after a couple of these sessions they'll be molded to your hand. If that sounds gross to you, you're not a fighter and don't need these.Note!- We fight in RDX T1 headprotectors, because broken jaws suck. But even with a padded helmet and all the gel in the gloves, if you get tagged with a good one it's going to rock you- stars and down you go. These are not puffy or soft.
