ProForce has added an extra crease mid glove to allow for better performance with open hand techniques, because the glove is able to pivot with your hand and you do not have to force the glove open.

I ordered a size medium, large would have been better. The circumference of my hand at the knuckles is 91/4". hope that helps

Purchased a blue size small & a white size medium for my 10 yr old. Her knuckle size is a 3.5”.She felt that the S was too tight but she was able to reach all the figure grips.The M was a bit more comfortable but her pinky did reach as well. She liked the shape of the pad (better looking than others she’d seen at the dojo). In the end we returned the size S & are holding onto the size M while we wait for a different brand to come before we make a final decision. The 4 finger grip and snugness may be dealbreakers for her.

My idea was to use these for some light sparring but the padding it just too hard. I smacked my husband with these guys and he said that I should just go bare fisted...funny but that wasn't my objective.
