I got this for my nephew for his birthday. I added some cash through the slots on the side of the box. He enjoyed it. Other family members gave it a try too and had fun. Once you figure out the first move, the rest of the puzzle is easy. Definitely great for a kid.

This was good quality, a fun little thing to hide some gift cards in. One of my kids figured it out pretty quickly, the other took a little longer. Either way, the instructions are included and are easy to follow so nobody needs to get too frustrated. Plus, once you know it, it’s a great little place to keep some personal stuff. Looks nice. Fast shipping, good price.

I bought this as a ‘secret box’ for my daughter. It doesn’t hold much, but it was a good way to give a gift card and for her to keep small trinkets. The opening technique is simple once you know the secret and the box I received moves very smoothly so there is no problem getting it open or closed.

This puzzle box is a cool gift, however, it is much smaller than pictured, but I should have read the measurements. It showed money being inserted in it, but said you could put cash, gift card or small jewelry in it. We gave it to our nephew for his 13th birthday and bought a gift card to put in it. The slot was too small for it. Luckily, the card was not plastic, because we had to bend it to get it to go in the slot.

I got this for an 11 y/o boy’s birthday. I hid it in a box of sour candies. It’s a small puzzle. I worked the puzzle a few times to loosen step 2. I did have to hint there were 6 steps and since he is new to these type of puzzles, I had to show the first step and then he got the rest himself. He had a lot of fun. He’s going to take it to school... IF school is actually in session this fall, with a piece of candy inside to whomever can solve it. Lol. The secret compartment is small so you can’t put a large gift inside. It was perfect for my purpose. I put a FOLDED $50.00 bill in it as well as a few sour candies and they fit perfectly. I had no problems with this puzzle. I though it was designed and put together well. It was a wonderful way to give money without just giving it in a card. He had to work for it and had fun doing so.

The box itself is sturdy; I actually fumbled it into a wall, which fumbled that to the floor, didn’t even chip the finish. Thin wood but won’t break without effort. As for the puzzle itself, I feel that “challenging” is a large overstatement. This box can be solved in about 5-6 steps, and the wall piece is quite loose. This is good for a one time, birthday party quick gift, but not much else

This puzzle box was purchased as a birthday gift to hold money for my niece. In fact, I bought four separate puzzle boxes in varying styles to gift one each to my four nieces and nephews. It turned out, every single person at the birthday party from the youngest child to the oldest adults were ALL getting involved in solving them! Everyone laughed, passed them around, and took their turns trying to solve the puzzle to open the boxes. It was fantastic! The puzzle boxes were great conversation starters and held everyone’s interest for a couple of hours until the party ended. I had to explain to many of them what they are called and where I bought them.This particular puzzle box is sturdy, lightweight, and well-built. It looks exactly as pictured. This puzzle box comes with easy-to-understand instructions. The compartment inside is sizable enough to hold a small gift, not just money. The age ranges of the children I bought these for were 8-14. As I stated though, everyone present aged 5 to 85 were enjoying these puzzle boxes.I highly recommend this product!
