Easy to turn, but also has no springs in it. So it will spin farther than you want it too. Definitely usable, but not as a speed cube.

This cube is smooth. I have it on my desk at work and I solve it a couple times a day. Much better that the Rubik’s brand and better than other speed cubes. I’ve had other ones that are too slick and the cubes will rotate and leave dumbfounded for a minute because it’s unsolvable until the cubes are rotated back to their original position. This is a great cube. Thanks.

Pros:-Low cost without feeling cheap, weak, or thin-easier to turn when misaligned (corner-cutting) than classic Rubik’s brand-less friction in general than Rubik’s brand-no stickers to worry about creasing or falling offCons:-less durable than Rubik’s brand-cubes with edge-corner magnets and more tweakability are available for not much more moneyBottom line: this cube is better than classic Rubik’s brand, but if you are interested in speed-cubing, consider going straight to a magnetized cube.Final thoughts: I’m probably going to buy a DIY magnetizing kit (~$5+sh, comes with superglue in a syringe) and add magnets to mine. From preliminary disassembly, this cube seems magnetizable, but you can’t be sure until you try.
