I used this railing to create a custom interior railing with a couple of unusual landings on the staircase. The adjustable angle connectors and wall supports make this a breeze to cut and install. Looks fantastic, and way cheaper than a custom railing!

The mounting brackets that are shown do not fit. They could be far more specific as to what works with the handrail.

I got the oak ones. But never thought that they were in the sun all day and harsh winters, in Minnesota. Only had them for a year and the oak is fading? They are not splitting or cracking but the beauty of the oak is not there anymore. Should I put some poly on them?

As a wanna-be DIYer this product appeared to be right up my alley. My goal was to install the railing for my front steps in anticipation of having hip surgery. Ordered and upon receipt received clear and concise instructions. An almost idiot proof installation!Except of course I measured once and not twice so my first order came in too short. As I said, almost idiot proof. But…The good folks at Promoinaid (Thanks Matt!) worked with me and successfully resolved the issue without me spending a fortune on MY error.The railing is now installed, it looks great, and better yet it makes me look good!Their customer service is superb, so if you are not sure of installing the railing yourself just shoot them a message. You won’t be disappointed in either their service or their product.
