it looks good but really has a funny smell, probably from being bagged up. I will air it out and see if it helps. bought it for isopods so hope it's not toxic.

This mulch has a nice rich color to it which creates a classy finished look to my potted plants. It looks especially good on my recently repotted snake plant. It's a good size bag, too, so you can do several potted plants. It's a good quality product.

This mulch is expensive, but it seems to be of a high quality. The color is rich and the mix allows for aeration. I don't know enough about mulch to recommend this over other brands, but if you're looking for just a small amount of mulch and this is at the right price point for you, I'm sure you can confidently order this product with no regrets.

Whereas many of us will use hardwood mulch in our landscaping, few think about the value of using mulch in container gardening. You get many of the same benefits putting mulch in your containers as you get in your garden. However, the reduction of moisture loss through direct evaporation from the soil is even more important for containers, since they can only hold so much water content. Cover you soil with the mulch, and this bag makes it very easy to do, and you can reduce the frequency of watering as well as the stress on your plants. It also has the added of benefit of looking a bit nicer than bare soil. As the mulch breaks down over time, it will add nutrients into the soil to help your container plants grow.
