It is a fine color and mulch, but I was hoping it would smell like cedar and I don't smell anything. Way cheaper to just buy cedar mulch at a local store (found some for $7 after ordering this).

Great product. I am so glad to have it because I am severely allergic to mold and bees. Cedar doesn’t mold and bees don’t like it. My dog loves it and he is a very picky dog. Product was delivered ahead of time and packaged nicely. It is easy to handle and use because it was not wet or heavy.
