I normally use and her the ear earpiece for audio from my Icom or Kenwood HT. Wind noise from those always makes it hard to hear. With these in-ear earpiece's that is all gone. Audio from this is excellent. I thought it would be hollow sounding but audio is clear and natural and the fit is great for my ear. Very happy with this product.

If you're searching for a versatile tube earpiece, particularly as a beginner, this product offers a low-risk entry point, ensuring reliable audio and compatibility with various police radios.While I rate this earpiece four out of five stars, there is one caveat to consider. Based on my experience with similar products, I've observed that the tubes tend to deteriorate after approximately four months of usage and become entirely unusable within six months. If longevity is a primary concern, a wired earpiece might be a better option. However, if you seek a temporary solution or a cost-effective replacement, this tube earpiece is an excellent choice.

I bought this as part of an ongoing effort to find a decent ear piece for my work radio on account of me being a bit deaf.The fit is a little awkward and I haven't been able to get the tube formed comfortably around my ear as the photo shows. It's not super hard but it is stiff and hard to shape as it just springs back to the original shape when I try.The sound quality is my big gripe. It's slightly better than what I can hear with no ear piece in a loud setting, but it's very muffled and if the broadcaster has any background noise it kinda takes over the broadcast. It's like trying to hear someone yell through a pillow in a different room.The actual ear bud is quite comfortable and does a decent job blocking ambient noise.Might be okay for security or similar work where background noise is not a big thing, but for mill or general industrial work it's kinda terrible.
