I hunt a lot in the fall and winter,usually with a small group.We use baofeng radios to keep track of each other and game movements,movements of the rabbit and deer dogs.this microphone clipped to my collar alleviates having to pull the radio out of my coat pocket to talk.Ill never hunt without this rig.Its a game changer

I've been around radios a long time. This is a nice heavy duty mic that is made well to stand up to a rugged environment. A plus is the Kenwood type plug used on most radios on the market. It has a volume control on the unit itself which comes in handy to adjust to environment or use to kill the mic if needed quickly. It does not feel cheap or flimsy at all. The PTT has 2 buttons, regular on side and a button on top. PTT has a nice professional feel and not a cheap plastic feeling click that many mics have. This is one of my go to mics because I know it will work. I have others that are better but have no problem using this at all. Good investment.

I have 2 and they work great. My first one came with an ear piece. The second one didn't. But besides that they are ready duty and work fantastic.

Sound quality and performance is solid. However the cord is very weak and broke easily during regular use.
