Heavy gauge steel tubing is outfitted with a robust hinged tube joint, multi-position tension adjustment, smooth cast footboard with integrated needle bearing hinge, Quick-Release hi-hat clutch, lateral cymbal seat adjustment and rotating double-braced legs with oversized anti-slip rubber feet.

Really well built hi hat stand that offers all the functionality of the more expensive premium brands. I really can't see why you would pay more, just for a brand name.

The two leg design saved space around my feet and let me add a left bass drum pedal. This stand is solidly engineered and the pedal feels great.The plastic clip on the top hi hat clutch worries me (this clip is actually what makes it quick release) so I plan to replace that part with a regular $10 PDP clutch. Otherwise perfect.

This is not a smooth stand. It makes squeaking noises, the spring makes noises and there's a lot of stiction (internal friction). I returned it and got a Ludwig LAP16HH, which is so much smoother, and it looks so much better in person too. The Ludwig is also much more stable due to the fact that the end of the pedal acts as a third leg vs. the front of the pedal on the PDP acting as the third support. If you're looking for a 2-leg stand, the Ludwig is the most stable and smoothest.

Bought this to go beside my double pedal to give more room and it does that well. This is a nice heavy duty stand and sturdy love it
