I've been wanting to upgrade my hi-hat stand for years. Saw this one and researched it, had all the features I wanted like adjustable foot position, variable tension and solid/sturdy frame. the price sealed the deal, retiring my 45+ years old Ludwig Atlas Hi-Hat Stand (go rest now you have served me well)
