these phones work very well. I use them about 6 hours/day. The sound is clear. the batteries hold a charge all day. However, they do not come with a headset, even though the description on Amazon says that a headset is included. The handsets have a jack for a 2.5mm headset plug. But overall, I am satisfied.

These phones are versatile. It's so nice to have one in every toom. I like the audio call announcement. I can put lots of phone numbers in the address book. It's easy to add a caller's name and number to the phone book. Panasonic has been reliable for me.

Rec'd phone and there is no headset despite being pictured. Very disappointed. The phone works fine but I really wanted the headset for fully hands free talking.

I bought these especially because they read out the name of the caller, I can rename the caller ID and it reads out what I program. They are clear, no static and no background noise, the screen is easy to read, sometimes the buttons frustrate you because each button seems to have 3 functions, but you get used to it. I have dropped them many times with no damage other than the clip on the back broke off one of the receivers. I will be buying another set for my niece soon as she moves out on her own for first time.

It’s easy to set up. The phone feels good in the hand. The clarity of sound is very good. Audio caller ID was not preset which was nice as it’s annoying. The locator is great and I love the answering machine because it was easy to record my message and the read out of how many messages is bright and easy to spot from across the room. I did not give it 5 stars for 1 reason. If I’m working at the kitchen counter, have the phone on speaker and lay the phone flat, the person at the other end of the phone can’t hear me. The phone needs to be standing and it needs to be close by in order for my voice to be heard. So a little improvement of voice capture in the speaker phone and I would give this Panasonic a 5. Over all, I’m very happy with it :)

It was time to replace the old Panasonic phone system we had because most of the handsets became garbled and you couldn't hear anything. They had served us well for many years, and so when it was time to get a new set, the choice was easily Panasonic again.I bought the set that comes with 3 handsets and bought another 2 handsets separately because it was a little cheaper doing it that way.The system was a snap to set up. Much easier than the old system. The 3 handsets that came with it were already paired with the base, and the other two paired by simply pressing a button on the base, then a button on the handset. Took all of 3 seconds. The handsets have a nice weight to them, the buttons feel nice and are a perfect size. They're not too small like on some phones. All buttons have a nice tactile feel but don't have strong resistance. I liked the old handsets a lot; I like these new ones better. The speakerphone sounds great, the menus are easy to navigate and have standard features. The cords that come with each cradle have a great length to them. All and all if you're still using a landline, like we do because our cell reception sucks in our house and we both work from home, then these are a great choice for you. Highly recommended!

Love this phone - the main reason is general peace and quiet from telemarketers and robocalls!First it was simple to set up; is compact, good sound , the right amount of useful options, good range and the rnessage recordings are clear. That’s what I need in a phone. However the greatest feature of this phone is call blocking. We retain a home line as we have a home office and bury my husband and I often find ourselves with hours of conference calls which are just clearer and more convenient on a home phone. However the majority of calls we get are just stupid sales calls for solar panels, robo calls telling us the ‘cops’ are coming to get us for missing taxes or fake charities after cash - well, not any more. This phone works where the do not call registry does not - call comes in, you hit a button and the number is blockedWhen those companies call there is a ring for a split second then it cuts it off and blacks the calls. We barely get any more of these calls and as soon as we do - we simply block them at a push of a button.Great phone and great call blocking ..

I bought this model to replace a 10 year-old Panasonic phone that was "dying." We didn't need anything fancy, so this filled the bill. And, it was from the same manufacturer, so set-up and any minor programming was easy. The worst problem was programming our contacts into the phone. You have to use the keypad to slowly and tediously enter each contact. It also has the capability to block up to 300 spam numbers, a useful feature these days. The blocking feature is super easy to use. Ther's a button on the phone. Just push it if you get a junk call and the number will be blocked. I think it's possible to program the phone to block individual numbers or even area codes with a bit of minor programming. However, I didn't use that feature. And, the phone comes with an answering machine. I also believe it has Bluetooth built-in, so calls can be transferred directly to a mobile phone. Maybe it's possible to transfer a contact list from a mobile phone to this unit. I didn't try that.All-in all, this is a good phone for the average user. If you need more capability, then I would recommend spending a bit more.

4.5 Stars Almost Perfect!! Only thing I do not like is the screen could be easier to read if it was backlit better. This replaced my previous Panasonic DECT 6 I've enjoyed for over 10 years. It was old and the answering machine stopped working. Opportunity to find a system that allows Call Blocking. During my initial search I saw there are many answering systems that do NOT allow call blocking. So finding this was a huge plus. And the call block has a dedicated button on each phone so as the nuisance call is coming in you just press the call block dedicated button one time and it goes into the up to 250 blocked number slots or until you release it and unblock. They also capture incoming calls with no Caller Id. LOVE this!!As soon as I got it I programmed in a well known charity that calls me every day and sends mail every week. Within 3 hours I heard my phone ring once and it successfully blocked them. I didn't even have to press the call block. You can set it up to ring one time only for blocked numbers, or not ring at all. Because it's new I like to see when the call block works so I let it ring once for now. This was surprisingly easy to set up out of the small box. Great clear manual. You can also store 100 numbers and list them by group for easy dialing. You can also set up special ring tones for the groups. I like the Talking Caller Id. Manual explains many programming features such as Night Mode (Silent Mode so there is no talking caller Id or ringing while you are sleeping, etc. Overall the base/ answering machine and each charging base are smaller and much lighter than my previous Panasonic system. I hope this one lasts as long and functions as well as the last Panasonic system. Worth the many new features!!
