Quick removal and installation of the spring retaining keepers is easily accomplished through the large openings on both sides of the compression tube.
The multi-point adjustable base of this tool bolts securely to the head while the adjustable lever mechanism pivots from the bar thus compressing the spring.
All the tools and accessories are centrally put on a built-in plastic tool case, which is ideal for placing in your toolbox to keep all of these tools in the same place.

It does what it's advertised to do, but the build quality is lacking a little. The plastic coating on the handle was missing right on the sharp corner, so I had to use a folded shop towel to push down without cutting my hand. Also, it only comes with 3 bolts of each size, so you can't bolt it down properly. Also had to cut the bolts to about half their length just to secure it to the head as they wouldn't thread all the way in the way they were.

I bought this after trying multiple styles of spring compressors. I was working on a 3.6 Penastar and with the smaller heads, normal compressors don't fit. This did the job well. I didn't like that everything is just slid together into the brackets. The overhead bar can easily fall out if you are not careful and hit sensitive parts inside the head like cam journals and would have liked if the push bar could have a locking mechanism to hold it down but used bailing wire to hold it and got it done. For the price this worked well and got me out of a jam. If you are dealing with tight spaces, this could really save you some time and frustration.
