I bought these to help me save coolant while changing out the CHRS pump on my Prius, worked well and these are an inexpensive way to save coolant when it’s still clean and serviceable.

Used on a brake line in an F150. It only partially stopped the flow of brake fluid, even when fully articulated and locked. I had to help it out with a pair of pliers to completely block the hose. Fortunately, it did hold on its own and I could release the pliers. The problem is the plastic they’re made of is not rigid enough and deforms when squeezing tightly.

Needed these especially to keep coolant or fuel from pouring out over my engine. Holds strong without damaging the hose. Mostly needed two smaller sizes.

They don't entirely stop the flow of fuel but they work well enough that you don't loose all the fuel from the gas tank. Still allows a few drips.
