Worth their weight in gold. They grab spring clamps on my 2011 tundra coolant lines perfectly. Much better than pliers.

This is one of those tools that you never use enough to justify having... but wish you did every time you need them. THEN... once you get them, you wonder why you waited so long!Mine was always price, but I've gotten a few different sets of these Duratech tools now and I'm starting to like them. I think they are well made and seem to hold up. I don't use them daily, but more than most. This set in particular was a good value and made me bit the bullet and finally get a pair - and I'm sure glad I did. They work great and make the job soooo much faster.

Exactly the right tool for the job. They open wide enough to allow a large hose clamp, and when locked in place, would not release until you decided to release it. Love it…great tool…and made changing the hoses on my truck much easier.

I was surprised about the build quality and was amazed of the grip comfortability. At this price point I'm surprised that I haven't seen many reviews pop up on my for you page. Very inexpensive and the locking mechanism works great

Wish it came with instructions, that’s my only thing as well as the product design of one of the piece turns constantly while trying to grip the clamp. Might not be a bad thing though. I’ve never used this tool before this. So I don’t have any thing to compare it to.

Great product made taking hose clamps off simple instead of trying to use regular pliers that constantly slip off. Great quality for the price. And ease of use.

It works but not greatly. I chose this one because it opens a bit more than the others at this price point.It is pretty lightweight so agree with others that this wouldn't take much abuse.The main issue I dislike is the rotating head is freely rotating, so when I was working in cramped engine compartment and get it set and it moves just enough to come off the clamp, and this happened several times. A tension spring might do wonders. Secondly, there's a locking lever , which yes a good idea to lock it open but this too is poorly done and frequently locks inadvertently and not intuitive to disengage.I do not recommend this particular model. Next time I would get the one with the cable one so u can fit it into said cramped engine compartment.Thank you.
