Planned on using them while adding a fuel filter on an ATV job. The filter was too long to fit, so I haven't had the need to use one of them yet. I do have a concern that they don't close off completely, but also haven't tested all of them yet. Will update if/when I do. For the money this is a decent set of tools.

Ended up returning them as my project changed up, but they seemed to be nicely made and heavy duty enough to clamp hoses together (though I hadn't actually attempted it as I examined them but wanted to return them unused). No cheap thin plastic, but had some heft and the joint would have held up well.

Took these out for a trail run and they do not feel cheap at all. NOT professional "snap on" grade but more on the line of Harbor freight. I'm more than pleased with my purchase.
