So, I got these because my normal pinch off pliers couldn't fit on a coolant hose, I had to remove. These worked pretty well. Only a small amount of residual coolant leaked out which made clean up easier. They seem well made and are easy to use, they come in assorted size, which is good too, however I wish they included 2 larger ones. Probably won't work on all style hoses but for a temporary pinch off during repairs they do work if used correctly.

As a appliance repair technician and a Mechanic I am constantly working with hoses that are filled with fluid and need to be pinched off. I actually like this set better than my snapon pinch off pliers. These don't take up a lot of room and it's easy to keep all four of them together with a climbing hook.

Awesome product right here! I have the plastic plier style and gave them away once I used these. They didn’t harm my rubber coolant hoses or the oil lines on the Subaru and m working on and made my job much easier. Barely lost any fluid with these installed. Being made of metal and not plastic these should last a long time. All the edges are smooth and the different sizes came in handy for my varying sized hoses. Save fluids, save money. Cheap effective tool for my service cart.

The FullMayPro 4 Pack Hose Pinch Off Pliers Hose Clamp Pliers for Flexible Hoses Fuel Line Coolant Hose Radiator Hoses are super quick and easy to use. They work great at pinching off hoses to prevent leaks and spills. They're perfect to use when removing assemblies, tanks and sub-assemblies to perform maintenance on equipment. They're much better and more effective than using things like vise-grip pliers and they don't cause cracks and damage to hoses. This is a set that comes with four different sized clamps that accommodate a range of hose sizes. I'm very satisfied with the quality and performance of the FullMayPro 4 Pack Hose Pinch Off clamps and consider them an excellent value!

It seems that almost all two cycle implements I buy come not equipped with a fuel shutoff valve, which probably saves the manufacturer all of $0.50. That means if I want to keep the carburetor from gumming up on storage, I have to drain the fuel tank (which is generally a pain) and then run the engine until residual fuel runs dry. The smaller range of clamps in this set offers a reasonable alternative; just clamp the fuel line in some convenient spot and run the carb dry. The larger clamps are relatively useless for this application due to space restrictions on many power tools but I expect I'll find some use for them. A con for these clamps is that they are a bit pricey. . A pro is that they provide more positive closure than the typical lab-style pinch clamp.

These "FullMayPro 4 Pack Hose Pinch Off Pliers Hose Clamp Pliers for Flexible Hoses Fuel Line Coolant Hose Radiator Hoses Clamp Tool etc, 3/8in 1/2in 1in 1-3/4in" came packaged in a plain cardboard box. These clamps are nearly identical to those from the local cheap tool store, but double the price ($16 at time of review). I immediately added a greased washer and greased the threads of each clamp to smooth out the tightening function. The smaller clamps sealed off a fuel line fairly well, but the largest clamp didn't quite seal off a 7/8" heater hose. I had to bend the steel rod slightly on the large clamp before it would finally clamp the hose off completely. The "brand" stickers they slapped on these clamps looks like crap, making them look cheap. After some slight modifications they all work. Not worth the current price in my opinion.
