Clamptite tools give you the ability to create a perfect, custom fitted clamp for your hoses in any application. Ideal for emergency applications such has a hose bursting in your vehicle, the tools can be used as banding tools, reducers or for creating custom clamps with any gauge wire and almost any type of wire you may have including stainless steel wire, tie wire, and even a wire clothes hanger. Clamptite saves you money on clamps by turning any inexpensive wire into the best clamp money can buy. Just under 6 inches in length the ClampTite tool is about the size of a pencil and is precision machined from stainless steel and alumabronze. The ClampTite tool provides a way of tightening wires wrapped around an object and then locking it in place. The ClampTite tool can be used with various sizes of wires, which eliminates space as well as strength issues, oftened encountered with screw operated worm gear type clamps. No matter if you're looking for a quick and effective emergency leak repair or a bullet proof means for securing nearly any material from rubber hoses to spliced wires, this new and innovative tool is a must have addition to any portable or shop tool chest. ClampTite quickly replaces ineffective or damaged conventional hose clamps with a temporary or permanent clamping mechanism formed from stainless steel safety wire. Clamps formed using ClampTite seal a full 360 degrees with no flat spots and can be used to band any type or size material.

Way better than hose clamp. Takes a little bit to get the hang of it, but when you do you want to tie everything with it.

This product is a life saver if you don't have any worm clamps handy. And for less than 20 dollars it is well worth the money and the space it takes up in your toolbox. It's about the size of a pencil. It takes a few trys for practice. After that learning curve it works fantastic.

Didn't know how soon I'd use it. Two weeks later, I needed it. It worked exactly as described first try. Wish I had this as a kid. Custom clamps!!! They look factory made when done. Every man should own one. Like the shotgun, air compressor, motorcycle, and the lantern.... something every man should have and love.

I aw the videos and it works exactly as described but there seems to be very little practical use for it in the tight spaces in an engine bay. For lawn and garden or some plumbing and maybe fuel or vacuum lines it would work well. But, for general automotive it just requires more room to use than is ever available.

Grew up using safety wire pliers in the Navy and own a pair even today. This was a nice alternative. Allows two wires to act as a clamp and tighten evenly around hose. Easy to use and if you are unsure, there are videos on YouTube that show you how. Always bring along in my tool box when traveling.

So I got the cheaper one with the wing nut vs the big T handle bc I wanted a more compact size tool. It can seem a little awkward at first till you get used to the actual mechanics of it and how the clamps are supposed to be made. I have used it on a variety of items that need clamps and it works well. Just remember that too tight will literally cut the hose in half! The single loop clamps is the fastest to do but It also is the one that can be over tightened the easiest. I prefer the double loop and with proper practice you can get them done pretty quickly. This is my 2nd one of these and it came with a plastic wire nut, I don't really know why it has it or what it's use is. I got the full size one also and it's handier than a shirt pocket but too big in some instances so I got this one to try out, now it's my favorite tool.
