I've never used this type of hose clamp pliers before. It works a lot better than slip joint pliers, especially considering the price.

I wish I had bought these 15 years ago. These are a great quality set and value for what I paid. I did a motor swap with these recently and it saved me so much time vs trying to remove every clamp with pliers

This review is for the WORKPRO Flexible Hose Clamp PliersOverall: 4 StarsUnless you work on your own vehicles or are a vehicle repair professional, you probably don't really need this tool. If you are a professional, you probably already have something similar in your tool chest. For the DIYer like myself, this can be the difference between getting the smaller jobs done a bit easier, and a lot of scraped knuckles. I think that this is an excellent choice for someone with my needs. It took me a couple of tries to really get the feel for using these properly, but now I'm sold. Don't expect things to go perfectly the first time you use these if you've never used anything similar before (or maybe I'm just not the poster child for DIY repairs!), but once you get the hang of it, you'll never want to go back to using normal pliers or vice grips to do the job these were designed for. Sure, they're not as well made as what professionals use, but for the occasional user like myself, these can be a real improvement.

These pliers are specifically designed for accessing areas that regular pliers can't reach, thanks to their extended tip.A major advantage is that they allow you to keep the clip open while working, leaving your hands free throughout the task. Anyone who has ever removed hose clamps knows how frustrating, awkward, and sometimes painful the process can be. I realized I wasn’t using the right tool, as I had always relied on small, elongated pliers, which never worked well. Deciding it was finally time to get the proper tool, I was amazed by how much easier it made the job.After owning several tools from WORKPRO, I can confidently say they’ve all been excellent quality.

I don't normally leave a review but this product saved my day today on a roadside repair. I only wish these pliers closed just a tiny bit more for small hose clamps, but this minor criticism isn't enough for me to knock off a star. This is the second product I have bought from workpro, the first being a socket set which is still excellent and I use often.

This Flexible Hose Clamp Pliers from the WORKPRO Store on Amazon is just the thing for those hard to reach hose clamps. As a retired mechanic working on many different vehicles I needed several different types of hose clamps, and I wish I had one of these then. Getting a perch on some clamps can be really tricky, and you get it halfway off and what ever tool you are using slips off and you have to start over. With this WORKPRO tool you have another way to approach the problem, and this tool is well designed to tackle the difficult clamps.There seems to be a confusion as to where the tool is made. North Carolina or China. The Chinese have improved their quality so much in recent years that it really doesn't matter any more. It's a well made quality tool. I like it!

It worked perfectly on the first clamp. But when I went to use it on the second one, the spring that creates the tension sprung out of place. I looked at the photo online and got the spring back into place. Then it worked on the second clamp. And then the spring sprung out again. It happens with each use, making this tool kind of maddening to use. If you are removing hose clamps, you need a tool like this. Just not this one in particular.
