I plan to keep my kayak inflated some throughout the winter and the straps cut into it . So I got lightweight blankets to use as padding to keep them from doing that. Simple but decent concept.

i had these straps for less than a year and they randomly snapped. definitely going to look for better quality.

Find where you want to mount it. Drill into the studs. Screw hooks in.Use the D rings. Hook one D ring into the hook, wrap the strap around the canoe against the (need a person to help) canoe being held against the wall. Loop it, with a little slack. There you go.

Easy as putting two hooks in the rafters, and I can hang from the straps, and I can put one end of my kayak in at a time so you can hang your kayak by yourself, great product.
