The airtight seal helps protect electrical components and insulate your home to keep warm or cool air from escaping into the attic or rafters. The 17551A trim produces a genuine, finished look without compromising the efficiency of the light source. The 17551A is designed to fit standard 6-inch recessed housings using the included torsion v-springs for installation. The 17551A measures 7.5-inches in diameter with an open aperture of 6-inches. Use with any of NICOR’s 6-inch recessed housings for a perfect match, or use with an existing 6-inch recessed housing. The 17551A is protected by NICOR's 1 Year Limited Warranty. The product is goo therefore 5 stars but........This is so typical of Amazon packaging. Who the hell does this anyway. I had a box literally 3 feet across and abou 18 inches deep for 8 of these baffle trims and rings and they had just that one sheet of paper to hold everything still in the box! Luckily this is a good heavy weight product and it could withstand the pounding it took. You see none of the cardboard holders were even in place. I am so sick of the poor packing by Amazon. Now they are paying people $15/hr for this with plans to raise our Prime subscriptions. Get it together amazon.
